Once you choose to embark on the adventure of hosting a student you will receive full support and guidance from MyEducation (UK) staff. Whether you are experienced at hosting or you are a first-time host family, we will make sure that you are prepared for the arrival of your student and assist you in welcoming them into your home.
How will we support you and your student?
- Local Area Representative: a local person will be appointed to support you and your student throughout the exchange experience. They will conduct the at home interview and contact you at regular intervals during the exchange to ensure that you are all happy and enjoying the exchange. When necessary the Area Representative will also assist with difficulties and act as an impartial mediator.
- Head Office: we are here to answer all of your questions before arrival and during the program. We will arrange the school enrolment and DBS checks (previously CRB checks) and assist you in choosing a student who matches your family and your interests. No question is too small about the process of hosting and we will endeavour to ensure that you receive all of the information and assistance that you need.
