Language students by a lake

Munich Young & Fun // 30.06-04.08 // 10-14 years

The Language School

This summer camp is located over 50km south of Munich, in the town of Josefstal. The town is a traditional “Bavarian village”, tucked away in the mountains of the Alps. Among other things, you will meet local German children who love to spend their summer holidays in this beautiful outlying town. Some German children will also live at the school, at the same time as you. You will also do the afternoon activities together. This is a good opportunity to practice your German language even more. With room for a total of 70 students, from approx. 40 different countries, you will have an absolutely fantastic cultural experience at this language school.

Activities and excursions

At this language school, teaching in the morning and social activities or excursions are in the afternoon. There are opportunities for swimming, football, volleyball, badminton, and much more. In the evening there will be a lot of social activities where you and your friends can gather around a campfire, play board games, and much more. Some evenings there will be a joint barbecue evening at the school, as well as an evening with music and disco. In addition to all this, you will, of course, also experience the city of Munich. The school has at least one full day a week where you go to Munich to experience this amazing city.

Optional add-ons

Include tennis lessons each week for an additional £115 per week – 3 sessions of 60 minutes.

Include football lessons each for week for an additional £75 per week – 3 sessions of 90 minutes.

Munich Adventure // 23.06-11.08 // 12-17 years

Language School

The adventure camp, is based in a beautiful old hotel, which has been restored and turned into a fantastic camp for teenagers. The school is hidden behind the German Alps, south of Munich. The nature around the school is absolutely fantastic. A few hundred metres from the school is a large lake, which the school uses for various water sports activities. The hotel is right next to one of the most pristine lakes in the German Alps, Lake Spitzingsee. The view is wonderful, looking out of the window you´ll see either lake or mountains. You will meet a lot of new friends, from all over the world. Which you will be able to keep in touch with, for many years to come.
NOTE: The school does not offer tuition for complete beginners.

Activities and excursions

At this camp, you will be taught in the morning. After which there will be many different activities that you can participate in. Among other things, you can get out and hike in the beautiful mountains that surround the camp. It is also possible to go down to the lake, where only the imagination sets limits to what you can do. Often the students have tried to build their own raft, and sail around on it. Some nights it is possible to sleep in the open air, with friends, around the campfire site. There will also be full day trips to Munich so you can experience this beautiful city.

Munich Castle // 30.06-11.08 // 14-17 years

Language School

This camp is something very special as you get to learn German and live in an old medieval castle, outside Munich. A spectacular summer experience awaits! The school is located a little south of the city, and is close to the river River Isar. As well as close to other sights like, Bavaria Filmstudios and Frauenkirche. The castle – Burg Schwaneck, was built in 1843 and has been carefully restored by modern standards in order to serve as an educational institution. The castle is within Munich city, located 10 km south of the city centre (15 minute train ride to city centre. Surrounded by a huge park right this will be an unforgettable location.

Spacy classrooms with historical touch, 4-5 bed dorms, Knights hall, lounge, internet café, bowling, billiard table, playground in the park, table tennis, cafeteria and much more.

NOTE: The school does not offer tuition for complete beginners.

Activities and excursions

There will be German lessons in the morning, and a lot of activities and excursions when you do not have German lessons. Once classes are done you will have barbecues on River Isar, cycling on the banks of the river or enjoying a campfire. ​ There will be the opportunity to play various sports such as volleyball and swimming. You will also get to take in the city of Munich, which is close by, and shop with friends, visit the Englischer garten and many other city sights. You will also come out and experience, the amazing mountains and surrounding areas. So you can look forward to experiencing, the real Bavarian area.
