The Language School

Our Málaga language school is located right next to the beach, and thus has a unique location on the eastern outskirts of the city, 15 minutes from the historic centre of Málaga. From the language school to the centre you can either walk or cycle along the beach, or you can take the local bus. It is quiet and relaxing, while the beach is just outside the language school's doors. On the school grounds are 8 classrooms - four of which are out in the tropical garden and four inside.

Teachers are skilled and experienced in teaching Spanish as a second language, and they use new and exciting teaching methods. There are a maximum of 12 students per class and teaching consists of minimum 15 language lessons and 10 hours of "playful" activities and workshops. Due to the school's location just near the sea, it is possible to play football, volleyball, go snorkelling, surfing, sailing or just relax on the beach. You can also arrange classes in horse riding, climbing, snorkelling, tennis or golf at an additional cost. At the summer camp there are new activities every day, such as dance, parties, artistic activities, sports, etc.. - many of which are often held at the beach.

The Málaga summer camp is special because it mixes local students who wish to learn English with international students who want to learn Spanish. The day starts with separate classes for the English and Spanish students. This is followed by a break where students can mix together. The afternoon activities are often held at the beach and involves mixed workshops with a communicative and creative nature.

It is possible that parents and children can learn Spanish at the same time, but in their own classes. Adults can buy lessons for themselves, eg 10 lessons a week, while young people are in school 25 lessons a week . The advantage is that you can be close to your child but still have your own time to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Together you can participate in excursions organised by the school, if you like, or you can plan your free time.

At this summer camp you will stay with a Spanish host family who will be located within a 5-10 minute walk from the school. You will be accommodated in a twin bed room with a local family. The family will provide you with a kind and welcoming environment and are aware that they are caring for a younger student and are responsible for their wellbeing.

This program includes full board and meals will be provided by the host family.

Activities and excursions

The activities are a mix of cultural and language workshops, sports and games and cultural excursions to various places around Málaga. The school organises a varied assortment throughout the summer. You might take an excursion to Málaga city, a water park, a cave, Nerja, Frigiliana or Benalmádema where there are all sorts of parks and entertainment.

At school there will be sports and games on the beach, Spanish cooking, salsa or flamenco, outdoor cinema and much more.

Transfer Service

On arrival at Malaga Airport you will be picked up by one of the language school staff/ affiliated transfer company, who will bring you to the host family and also return you on departure. It is very important that the arrival and departure takes place during the period 9am and 5pm.
