After 10 months in Scotland it is hard to think about going home and seeing my family and friends again. I can’t believe how fast time went by! Of course I’m happy to see everyone again, but I'm sad too to leave all the wonderful people I met here. I still think Scottish people are very expansive and caring, they would do anything to make people they love happy and are friendly and try to help people who they don’t know too. It’s easy for them to chat with strangers and make friends and I love it! It can start from anything: a compliment, a comment about the weather,...
The best part of my exchange has been the places I have seen, the people I have met and the things I have done. I will never forget any of it and I will always feel Scotland as my home and Scottish people as my family.
I made a lot of memories at school too, I met all of my friends there and I have wonderful memories about my teachers too, they have always been very helpful even beyond their job, they have been friends I could talk to and rely on.
I loved living with my host family too! It took a bit to get to know Cathy, but now we are best pals! We shared a lot of moments and we saw a lot of places together and I will always be thankful to her for allowing me to have such an amazing experience. I can really say she’s now part of my family.
