Valencia is first and foremost a cosmopolitan city with about 800,000 inhabitants. The beautiful Mediterranean city enjoys a mild temperate climate and offers a wealth of gastronomic delights, festivals and cultural events throughout the year. In Valencia you can experience how the most beautiful historic buildings stand side by side with innovative architecture - in a fascinating harmony. Over the past two decades Valencia has undergone an amazing transformation. Valencia has a lot of interesting buildings of modern architecture, including the City of the Arts and Sciences museum, the IVAM (Valenica Institute of Modern Art), the concert hall Palau de la Musica and the conference center Palau de Congresos . The impressive modern building forming an interesting contrast to the mysterious historical center with its many religious temples and Gothic Baroque churches.

Another popular part of Valencia is the beautiful park that surrounds much of the city. The park is located on the riverbed, Jardín del Turia, the former Turia River. The park is perfect for all kinds of sports, cycling, jogging, skating or just to bask in the sun.

One of the most exciting and popular neighborhoods in Valenica is the Barrio del Carmen. Barrio del Carmen is known for its many tapas bars, cafés and restaurants with delicious Valencian cuisine, including the famous paella. People of all ages and preferences enjoy this town, and they set out to explore the narrow, old and quaint streets.

The pleasant climate in Valencia means that the city's beautiful sandy beaches are used extensively for most of the year. The popular beach is a delicious golden sand beach and is primarily popular for sunbathing guests, but has a variety of restaurants and cafes located along the seafront.​

The most popular festival in Valencia takes place in March, and it is called Las Fallas. Five days in March the festival fills the streets with fireworks and celebration creating an ultimate authentic experience for tourists in the city. In addition to the above Valencia known for the great setting for sailing and Formula 1.
